Available now is this amazing 2008 Epiphone les paul standard, with a gorgeous flamed top finished in vintage sunburst. This guitar was made in Indonesia in mid 2008, and these factories are renowned for the good quality and beautiful tops they were putting on their guitars at the time, and this is no exception!
This guitar sports a mahogany body with a maple cap (flamed maple veneer), a mahogany neck with a ‘60s slim taper profile and a rosewood fretboard with trapezoid inlays.
It is fitted with an upgraded parker fly humbucking pickup in the bridge which sounds great and has a nice resonant low end whilst maintaining that classic Les Paul bite and growl. The guitar has kluson deluxe vintage tuners with black pegs, nickel hardware, speed knobs and a black switch tip and pickup ring completes the very cool look.
It is still in amazing condition having lived most of its life on the wall not being played, and is ready to go to a new home. Really one of the best looking tops I’ve seen in a long time and not common on a guitar at this price point.
This guitar has been set up with ernie ball 10 gauge strings and plays well with low action and no buzz. It is in great condition as shown in the photos above. This guitar is perfect for aspiring guitarists to seasoned professionals who are looking for a lovely instrument!
