Available now is this amazing 2008 Epiphone Les Paul custom “Black Beauty” model, sporting the signature triple humbucker configuration. This guitar was made at the Qingdao factory in China in mid 2008 and remains in excellent condition, having never been gigged.
This guitar sports a mahogany body with gold hardware, a mahogany neck with a ‘60s slim taper profile and a rosewood fretboard with trapezoid inlays. Uniquely, these guitars also have a volute (reinforced triangle shaped addition on the back of headstock to strengthen it)
It is fitted with Alnico Classic humbuckers which sound very smooth but still have that classic les paul bite once you put a bit of gain on! Got a good play for a heavy guitar, with nice low action and has really good sustain as you can imagine! This guitar is still in excellent condition, there is some light swirling on the pickguard from playing and a few small marks on the body but they are small and you really have to go searching for it. I’ve tried my best to photo everything.
This guitar has been professionally set up with Ernie ball 10 gauge strings so it plays as good as it looks, it has nice low action and no buzz.
