Available now is this beautiful 2005 Gibson Les Paul Standard finished in cherry sunburst with a stunning flamed maple top on it. This top and burst is really quite unique and looks absolutely brilliant in person, with a real depth and ‘3Dness’ to the flame. This guitar was made in the Nashville factory in mid 2005 and remains in good condition, the only thing to note being a cracked input jack plate and a small ding on the bottom edge but this is not really noticeable and you have to go searching for it.
This guitar sports a weight relieved Mahogany body paired to a mahogany neck with the ‘60s SlimTaper profile which feels amazing, and a rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets. These specs make it a dream to play and not too heavy either if you want to gig with it, or you just like playing standing up - this one weighs in at about 8.6lbs.
It is equipped with replacement Grover tuners and 2 Gibson BurstBucker Pro humbuckers with Alnico V magnets which sound great - giving you everything you want from a Les Paul, with great bite whilst maintaining a clear, warm and rounded bottom end.
This guitar has been set up with ernie ball 10 gauge strings and plays well with low action and no buzz. This guitar is perfect for aspiring guitarists to seasoned professionals who are looking for a lovely instrument! Comes with the original gibson case which is lovely and padded on the inside but has been defaced with pen on the outside, this may be able to be removed at the buyers wish.
