Available now is this 2001 Fender American Fat Telecaster finished in the timeless black colour, made in Fender's Corona, California factory. The American fat telecaster from Fender is a factory modded version of the traditional tele with a humbucker in the neck position offering a warmer, “fatter” tone.
This guitar sports a solid alder body finished with a gloss urethane lacquer with chrome hardware with a modern “C” maple neck. It also has Fender deluxe locking tuners!
Electric wise, there is a Fender DH-1 humbucking pickup in the neck position and an American standard single coil in the bridge position. The humbucker gives a thicker, warmer sound while the single coil captures the classic tele twang. It has 5 way switching, master volume and one tone control.
This guitar has been set up with ernie ball 10 gauge strings and plays well with low action and no buzz. It is in great condition as shown in the photos above. This guitar is perfect for aspiring guitarists to seasoned professionals who are looking for a lovely instrument! Comes with nice hard case as shown.
