Available now is this beautiful 2022 Gibson Les Paul Standard ‘60s, finished in the gorgeous colour bourbon burst. This guitar was made in the Nashville factory in mid 2022 and has only had one owner from new, and has only been out of the case a handful of times. It remains therefore in excellent condition, never being gigged. This guitar is part of the Gibson Original Collection, designed to replicate the feel, and sound of the early 1960s Les Pauls from Gibson’s golden era, and this one does a very good job.

Spec wise, you get a solid mahogany body with an AA Figured Maple top which is absolutely gorgeous and looks extra brilliant in person. It has the ‘60s slim taper neck profile which many people say is the best profile gibson offers and I can see why - it plays really fast but feels good and present in your hand too. It also has a really nice dark rosewood fretboard and 22 medium jumbo frets, 1.695” nut width.

It is equipped with Gibson USA 1961 replica burstbuckers (61R in the neck, 61T in the bridge), and these sound great, providing a warm and pleasing bite and great distortion when overdriven. They sound a lot more vintage-correct like original PAFs than the 490R/T you get in other Les Pauls, grover tuners and nickel hardware complete the premium look and feel.

Good comfortable weight of 4.0kg (which is considered light for non-weight relieved bodies!) and good sustain. Comes with a hard case and all gibson case candy from new as pictured..

This guitar has been set up with ernie ball 10 gauge strings and plays well with low action and no buzz. This guitar is perfect for aspiring guitarists to seasoned professionals who are looking for a lovely instrument!
