Available now is this amazing 2021 Epiphone ES-339 semi-hollow bodied guitar finished in the timeless vintage sunburst from the “Inspired by Gibson” line. Gibson says the new inspired by collection “is built with a clear purpose: to deliver the sound and specs serious players expect, at an accessible price”, and this example does exactly that.
This guitar sports a layered maple body with a maple center block, a mahogany neck with a Rounded "C" profile and a laurel fretboard with dot inlays. The 339 was designed to offer the classic tone of an ES-335 but in a smaller, lighter package and this example weighs in at just 3.2kg, making it very featherweight and comfortable to play.
It is fitted with Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers which sound very smooth but still have that classic les paul bite once you put a bit of gain on! Fitted with chrome hardware, grover tuners, and a tune-o-matic bridge with a stop bar tailpiece. Controls are 2 Volume, 2 Tone and 3 way switching
This guitar has been set up with ernie ball 10 gauge strings and plays well with low action and no buzz. It is in great condition as shown in the photos above.
