Available now is this rare 2003 Epiphone Les Paul SG Custom 1961 reissue finished in antique ivory. This guitar was made at the Unsung factory in Korea in late 2003 and remains in excellent condition for its age, having spent a lot of its life inside the case.
The guitar sports a solid mahogany body paired to a one-piece Mahogany with Long Neck Tenon with a 1960s SlimTaper C profile. The fretboard is bound Ebony with Pearloid Block Inlays and 22 Medium Jumbo frets.
Electrics wise, It is fitted with triple Epiphone “custombucker” humbuckers, These are designed to replicate the PAF-style tone, featuring Alnico II magnets for a warm, vintage sound with enhanced output. Fitted with Grover tuners, Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece. Controls are 2 Volume, 2 Tone and 3 way switching. Comes with a lovely padded hiscox lifelite hardcase which costs over £150 on its own!
This guitar has been set up with ernie ball 9-42 gauge strings and plays well with low action and no buzz. It is in great condition as shown in the photos above. This guitar is perfect for aspiring guitarists to seasoned professionals who are looking for a lovely instrument!
