Available now is this 1989 American Standard Stratocaster finished in this metallic inca silver colour, made in Fender’s Corona, California factory. The American Standard series is the flagship model at the time made to replicate the vintage sound and feel while including modern features to expand tonal options!
This guitar sports a solid alder body finished with a gloss urethane lacquer with chrome hardware with a “C” shaped maple neck, 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo with Powdered Stainless Steel Saddles and Pop-In Tremolo Arm.
Electric wise, there is a trio of American standard single coils with a reverse wound middle pickup to cancel the hums on position 2 and 4. These single coils produce that classic bright and glassy tone while also being able to provide warm and round tones on the neck position.
It has 5 way switching with master volume and 2 tone controls with the second tone control being a TBX tone control which gives you a wider range of tonal options!
This guitar has been set up with ernie ball 10 gauge strings and plays well with low action and no buzz. It is in great condition as shown in the photos above.
